Ingredients

• milk — 750 ml, chilled
• basil seeds — 2 tsp, soaked
• fine vermicelli — 50 g, boiled
• coloured jelly — 1 packet, set and cubed
• rose syrup — 4 tbsp
• vanilla ice cream — 4 scoops, chopped nuts

Method

1. Soak the basil seeds for 15 minutes.
2. Sweeten the milk lightly and keep it cold.
3. Layer syrup, basil seeds, vermicelli and jelly in tall glasses.
4. Pour in the cold milk and top with ice cream and nuts.
