Ingredients

• fine vermicelli — 100 g
• milk — 1 litre
• sugar — ½ cup
• ghee — 1 tbsp
• cardamom, cinnamon, raisins, cashews

Method

1. Fry the vermicelli in ghee until reddish.
2. Boil the milk with the whole spices and add the vermicelli.
3. Simmer 8–10 minutes, then add sugar and nuts.
4. Serve warm or chilled.
